Every other day it seems, we hear about a new “superfood” that’s going to change our world. Amidst all these claims there is one fruit, that does indeed live up to it’s reputation. Avocado abounds with benefits for the body and soul.

So as an ode to Avocado, here are just a few of the reasons we love you…



You’re packed with vitamins and nutients -Vitamin C, B5, B6, E, Folate and Potasium just to name a few.

You’re full of guilt-free fat. Avocados are high in fat, but it’s monounsaturated fat, which is a “good” fat that helps lower bad cholesterol as long as you eat them in moderation.

You are as lovely and versatile to put on the body, as you are to put in it. The smooth texture and nutrient rich flesh of the avocado has long been used for facial masks and in skin care products.
